(Vocal/instrumental group, 1979–85)

Australian pop-rock band fronted by singer Colin Hay and guitarist Ron Strykert who hit big if briefly in 1982 with singles ‘Who Can It Be Now’ and ‘Down Under’, from the album Business As Usual (1982). Second and third albums Cargo (1983) and Two Hearts (1985) brought diminishing returns, sales-wise and they split in 1985, but the flute-led, offbeat ‘Down Under’ (a transatlantic No. 1) remains a catchy hit to be remembered by.
