Rewind (1971–1984)
Repeating a lot of tracks from previous compilations, Rewind (1971–1984) was a retrospective of the last 13 years. It marked the end of EMI’s distribution of Rolling Stones Records in the UK (Warner Bros. in the US), mostly taking in the singles, and being the first compilation since 1969’s Through The Past, Darkly (Big Hits, Volume 2) to feature different UK and US tracklistings, in order to appeal to the different markets.
