1964’s ‘She’s Not There’ nestled uneasily among more extrovert offerings of the day in the UK Top 20. It also topped the US Hot 100 and smaller hits followed for Colin Blunstone (vocals), Paul Atkinson (guitar), Rod Argent (keyboards), Paul Arnold (bass) and Hugh Grundy (drums). Furthermore, The Zombies had actually disbanded when 1969’s ‘Time Of The Season’ put them suddenly back near No. 1 in the US again, with commensurate sales for a final album, Odessey And Oracle [sic] (1968).
