(Vocal/instrumental group, 1979–present)

Blues aficionados Paul Jones (vocals, harmonica), Dave Kelly (vocals, guitar), Tom McGuiness (guitar), Gary Fletcher (bass) and Hughie Flint (drums) formed the Blues Band in 1979, purely for their own enjoyment. Initial success on the pub and club circuit swiftly led to greater things and their first album was released in 1980. Flint was replaced in 1981 by Rob Townsend and the band has continued to perform and record prolifically. Ex-Manfred Mann star Jones also plays an important role in keeping the blues alive as Britain’s premier blues DJ.
