Inducted Into UK Music Hall Of Fame

On 14 November 2006, Led Zeppelin were inducted into the UK Music Hall Of Fame in its third year running. The same year as James Brown, Prince, Brian Wilson, Bon Jovi, Dusty Springfield and Rod Stewart were inducted. Queen’s drummer Roger Taylor inducted the group into the Hall Of Fame for their contributions to ‘UK music culture’. This gave rise to rumours that the remaining three band members would reform in 2007, but as the official statement was made, it seemed that Jimmy Page, Robert Plant and John Paul Jones were happy pursuing their own separate paths.
