(Vocal/instrumental group, 1992–present)

Kelly Jones (guitar, vocals), Richard Jones (bass) and Stuart Cable (drums) were friends who formed the band in the Welsh village of Cwmaman. Their obvious chemistry delivered loud, passionate melodic rock dominated by Jones’ observational lyrics and full-on delivery. Word Gets Around (1997) was a mature set delivering UK chart hits like ‘A Thousand Trees’, as did the follow-up Performance And Cocktails (1999). By Language. Sex. Violence. Other? (2005) they were on their third drummer but were established rock stars.
