(Vocal group, 1967–74)

This British blues rock outfit first found success in the States with the 1969 hit ‘I’m Going Home’ and an acclaimed appearance at the Woodstock Festival. Led by guitarist and singer Alvin Lee, with Leo Lyons (bass), Chick Churchill (keyboards) and Ric Lee (drums), the band reached the UK Top 10 with ‘Love Like A Man’ and had four Top 5 albums before disbanding in 1974. A Y2K line-up featured Joe Gooch as frontman.
