(Vocal/instrumental group, 1991–present)

Formed in Limerick, Eire in 1991, Dolores O’Riordan (vocals), Noel Hogan (guitar), Mike Hogan (bass) and Feargal Lawler (drums) soon became a UK and US chart staple. O’Riordan’s unique and keening vocal style made chiming melodic singles like ‘Linger’, ‘Dreams’ and ‘Zombie’ into compelling pop. Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can’t We? (1993) and No Need To Argue (1994) both produced by Stephen Street best showcase their radio-friendly sound. On hiatus since 2004.
