Time Out
1992 was a sparse year for the group, who took some time out from being ‘the Stones’. Mick worked on his third solo project, Wandering Spirit, with Rick Rubin; Keith reconvened with The X-Pensive Winos for his second solo album, Main Offender, and rumours spread that Bill Wyman had quit the band, deciding that rock no longer had a place in a world where rap, grunge and the fledgling Britpop movement were beginning to rule the airwaves.
